Moss Home Improvement & Roofing, Inc. prefers GAF for the strength of its roofing systems and the variety of solutions GAF provides its customers. Unless a customer indicates otherwise, our free roofing estimate for your home will be based on GAF products.

Moss Home Improvement & Roofing, Inc. is a GAF certified Master Elite® roofer. A Moss roofer is well trained in GAF installation and has an average of 20 years of experience in home roofing. They are not a subcontractor or sub. They are employed in-house full-time. They have families, enjoy their craft, and they work professionally. Expect neat and professional work.

GAF offers three brands of roofing shingles. They include Timberline® Roofing Shingles, Lifetime Designer Roofing Shingles, and 3-Tab Roofing Shingles. These brands offer a wide range of colors, patterns, and architectural styles. Our representative will provide you a free estimate based on the options that you choose. In addition to roofing shingles, GAF provides attic ventilation, starter strips, roof deck protection, and leak barrier as options for their roofing systems. GAF has options to cover every roofing need.

GAF Timberline® Roofing Shingles
Timberline HDThe #1 shingles roofing brand is GAF Timberline® Roofing Shingles. Timberline combines affordability, high performance, and a superior curb appeal into an extremely popular roofing brand. Moss Home Improvement & Roofing, Inc. is an expert installer for this line of shingles. There are six subcategories of this brand.

Timberline HD Oyster Gray shingleTimberline ® HD – The best all-around value in terms of affordability and curb appeal. This shingle provides a great dimensional, wood-shake look with long-lasting Advanced Protection® Shingle Technology. This shingle is the number one all-around choice for most homeowners. Timberline ® Ultra HD – This shingle offers proprietary color blends and enhanced shadow effects. StainGuard Plus™ Time-Release Technology fights ugly blue-green algae in high moisture environments. The ultra-dimensional wood-shake look may increase home resale value.

Timberline ® Armorshield II – GAF uses a proprietary SBS modified asphalt formula for rubber-like flexibility and increased impact resistance with Armorshield shingles. These shingles pass the UL 2218 Class 4 Impact-Resistance Test and may qualify for insurance discounts. They offer much more sophisticated curb appeal.

Timberline ® Cool Series – Saving energy is the focus of the Cool Series. These highly reflective shingles can help reduce attic temperatures and help save on air-conditioning costs. They are Energy Star® Certified and some utility companies provide incentives for their use.

Timberline ® Natural Shadow – Natural Shadow is the classic American shingle that is practical and affordable. Its shadow effect lends any home to a subtle, even-toned look with Advanced Protection® Shingle Technology. It maintains a natural wood-shake look. Timberline ® American Harvest – High-performance multi-layer protection for the high-stress areas of your roof, such as the hips and ridges. These shingles are an extra-thick, double layer design that is up to 195% thicker than a typical GAP shingle. These affordable shingles have a dramatic look on their own.

Lifetime Designer Roofing Shingles
While designer in appearance, the Lifetime Designer Roofing Shingles are only a fraction of the cost of traditional slate shingles or wood shakes. Each series comes in unique shapes, styles, colors. They use GAP’s Advanced Protection® Shingle Technology and StainGuard® Protection. Using Dura Grip™ Adhesive seals, the shingles are warranted to withstand winds up to 130 mph. There is also a lifetime limited transferable warranty with Smart Choice® Protection (non-prorated material and installation labor coverage) for the first ten years.

GAF offers seven shingle types in this series. They include Woodland®, Camelot®, Camelot® II, Glenwood®, Grand Sequoia®, Sienna®, and Slateline®. Each has unique and distinctive designs and colors. Every variation is available to you through Moss Home Improvement and Roofing.

Install any GAF Lifetime Shingle & at least three qualifying GAF accessories & you’ll automatically get: a Lifetime limited warranty on your shingles and all qualifying GAF accessories. 3-Tab Roofing Shingles

Royal Sovereign ® 3-tab shingles are an industry standard. Over 10 million Royal Sovereign ® Shingles have been installed in North America. That is enough to circle the Earth more than 200 times if laid end to end!

Royal Sovereign ® is a high-performance shingle using GAF’s Advanced Protection® Shingle Technology, which helps wear and extend life. Color Lock™ Ceramic Firing (granules) helps maintain the true shingle color. StainGuard® Protection helps ensure the beauty of your roof against unsightly blue-green algae. It has the highest roofing fire rating with a UL Class A, listed to ANSI/UL 790.

Royal Sovereign® 3-tab roofing shingles pass the industry’s two toughest wind tests: ASTM’s 60 mph and 96 mph wind tests (under controlled laboratory conditions). These shingles have a Micro Weave™ Core that helps resist cracking and splitting, which extends useful life.
